Job Description: Interior Project Estimator

Job Title: Interior Project Estimator / Quantity Surveyor (Interiors)

Location: Pune

Department: Estimation & Procurement

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Study architectural and interior drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for turnkey interior projects.
- Perform quantity take-offs for civil, carpentry, modular furniture, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, painting, false ceiling, flooring, wallpaper, curtains, and other finishing works.
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and rate analysis.
- Obtain quotations from vendors and subcontractors and compare commercial offers.
- Coordinate with procurement and project execution teams for material costing.
- Prepare tender documents, budgets, and project cost summaries.
- Track project variations, additional works, and revised estimates.
- Assist in value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality.
- Maintain updated material rates, labour rates, and vendor databases.
- Support billing, cost control,



and profitability analysis throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills:
- Solid knowledge of interior materials, finishes, and execution methods.
- Excellent understanding of BOQ preparation and quantity estimation.
- Ability to read architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Knowledge of rate analysis and cost planning.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and excellent numerical ability.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Software Knowledge
- Microsoft Excel (Advanced)
- AutoCAD
- MS Office
- SketchUp (preferred)
- ERP/Project Management Software (preferred)
- Bluebeam/PlanSwift or similar quantity take-off software (preferred)

Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E. in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or Quantity Surveying.
- 1-5 years of experience in interior estimation and costing.
- Experience in turnkey residential, commercial, hospitality, or corporate
