- Your future role
You'll play a key role in ensuring the functionality and reliability of our electronic equipment and test benches. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and quality assurance, to diagnose and resolve technical issues, maintain equipment, and support continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll also play a critical role in upholding safety standards and driving innovation in our repair processes.
You’ll specifically take care of diagnosing and troubleshooting electronic equipment issues, but also maintaining records, managing spare parts inventory, and driving process improvements.
We’ll look to you for:
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with electronic equipment, including parts replacement, rewiring, and recalibrating.
- Maintaining accurate records of all repairs and services performed on equipment.
- Reworking electronic components, including hand soldering, dip soldering, and de-soldering during repairs of BGA, DIP, and other components.
- Developing and maintaining an inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment for effective repairs and services.
- Ensuring the safety of equipment and personnel involved in repair and maintenance tasks.
- Identifying root causes of tester failures and procuring the correct configuration parts, such as NI chassis, I/O cards, and power supplies.
- Driving change management processes for electronic products, including implementing corrective and preventive actions.
