- Role Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day operational support for Azure and AWS environments, including:
- VPC/VNet setup, security group configuration, IAM setup, and health checks on cloud workloads.- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues on VMware environments, including storage thresholds, snapshots, and guest network configurations.
- Manage and maintain Linux and Windows-based appliances, handling administrative and operational tasks as needed.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and Bash for tasks like log parsing, backups,



and scheduled jobs.- Required Experience:
- Robust hands-on experience managing and configuring enterprise firewalls: (Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX)
- Solid understanding of cloud networking within AWS and Azure, including: VPCs, Security Groups, IAM roles, NAT Gateways, NSGs, Azure Firewall, Azure AD, VNets
- Experience with proxy and DNS security solutions such as: Zscaler, Cisco WSA, Scansafe, internal DNS filtering
- Practical experience with IAM policies and Privileged Access Management tools (e.g., BeyondTrust PAM)
- Network hardening knowledge using CIS benchmarks; familiarity with NIST, ITIL, and internal audit standards
- Excellent documentation habits - ability to update SOPs, record recurring issues, and contribute to post-incident reviews

Preferred Certifications (a plus):
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator / Security Specialty
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Asso
