Job Description - Accounts Assistant

Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Wazirpur, Delhi
Salary Range: Rs.20,000 - Rs.22,000 per month
Reports To: Senior Accountant / CEO

Job Summary

Roles & Responsibilities
Accounting Operations
- Assist in daily accounting entries in Busy Software.
- Record sales, purchases, receipts, and payments accurately.
- Maintain proper accounting records and documentation.
- Support ledger maintenance and account reconciliation activities.

Invoice & Payment Management
- Prepare and generate invoices for customers.
- Assist in tracking accounts receivable and payable.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for payment follow-ups.
- Maintain records of outstanding payments and dues.

Taxation & Compliance
- Support GST and TDS data preparation and documentation.
- Assist in maintaining compliance-related records and reports.
- Coordinate with senior accounts team for filing requirements.

Reconciliation & Reporting
- Perform bank and petty cash reconciliations.
- Assist in preparing monthly accounting reports and statements.




- Identify discrepancies and report them to the senior accountant.

Data & Record Management
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry in accounting software.
- Maintain organised financial files and records.
- Ensure confidentiality and safe handling of financial information.

Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or pursuing/completed related qualification.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance-related role preferred.

Skills Required:
- Robust command over Busy Software of Busy Accounting Software.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Understanding of accounting principles, debit-credit concepts, GST, and TDS basics.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Office Timings: 9:45 AM - 6:45 PM (Monday to Saturday)
- Weekly Off: Sunday
