What will your job entail?

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and perform root cause analysis for performance issues.
- Implement and maintain monitoring tools to track performance metrics.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, and DevOps teams to ensure performance requirements are integrated early in the development lifecycle.
- Document test plans, results, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Generate performance reports and present findings to management and stakeholders.
- Mentor teams on performance best practices and foster a performance-aware culture.
- Design and document performance testing processes and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred; Software Engineering, Computer Science degree is preferred. Any other related discipline or commensurate work experience considered.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in performance engineering or related roles
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter,



LoadRunner, Gatling).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Recent Relic).
- Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Shell).
- Deep understanding of system architecture, networking, and database performance tuning.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) with experience reading logs and viewing usage metrics within (e.g. Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Amazon CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray).
- Exposure making updates and improvements to CICD pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with microservices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of APM tools and distributed tracing.
- Relevant certifications in performance testing or cloud technologies.
