Job Title: TGT English Teacher

Job Summary:
The TGT English Teacher is responsible for teaching English language and literature to middle and secondary school students (typically Classes VI-X). The role involves planning engaging lessons, assessing student progress, fostering communication skills, and creating a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver English lessons aligned with the school's curriculum.
- Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, and literature.
- Develop students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing (LSRW) skills.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through tests, assignments, projects, and classroom activities.
- Maintain accurate academic records and prepare progress reports.
- Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication.
- Use innovative teaching methods, digital tools, and interactive learning strategies.
- Manage classroom discipline and ensure a secure, inclusive learning environment.




- Organize literary activities such as debates, elocution, essay writing, and drama.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, and school events.
- Perform other academic and administrative duties assigned by the school.

Qualifications:
- B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) from a recognized institution.
- CTET/TET qualification (preferred or as per school/government requirements).
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
