Job Description - DCS Operator

Location:Raichur, Karnataka

Qualification:Diploma/ITI in Chemical

Experience:1-3 years in process industries, biogas, CBG, refinery, chemical, fertilizer, ethanol, or power plants. Experience in DCS/SCADA operation preferred.

Job Purpose:
To monitor, control, and optimize plant operations through the Distributed Control System (DCS) for safe, effective, and continuous production of Compressed Bio Gas (CBG).

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor all plant processes through DCS/SCADA systems.
- Monitor critical process parameters of digesters, gas purification systems, compressors, utilities, and storage systems.
- Ensure smooth plant startup, shutdown, and process transitions.
- Identify process abnormalities and initiate corrective actions.
- Coordinate with field operators for operational adjustments.
- Maintain process logs, shift reports,



and operational records.
- Support troubleshooting activities during process upsets.
- Monitor alarms and ensure timely response.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, work instructions, and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams during equipment breakdowns and planned shutdowns.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and statutory requirements.

Required Skills:
- DCS/SCADA operation.
- Process monitoring and control.
- Alarm management.
- Troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of CBG production process.
- MS Office and reporting skills.

Preferred Language:
- Kannada, Hindi, English

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
