Key Responsibilities:
Manage and optimize company profiles on Upwork to improve visibility and response quality

Identify relevant projects aligned with the company’s service offerings and business goals

Write and submit customized, high-quality proposals based on client requirements

Handle initial client communication independently through Upwork messages.

Coordinate with internal teams for project estimations, solution inputs, capability decks, and proposal support

Maintain timely and consistent follow-ups with prospects to convert responses into qualified business opportunities

Maintain and regularly update records of leads, proposals, follow-ups, and deal status

Contribute to monthly and quarterly sales targets through consistent lead generation and opportunity creation

Stay updated on Upwork trends, bidding practices, competitor activity,



and changes in client expectations.

Required Skills & Competencies

2 to 3 years of experience in Upwork bidding

Proven experience in generating leads and opportunities through Upwork

Solid verbal and written communication skills

Ability to understand client requirements and respond with relevant, client-focused solutions

Experience in handling initial client conversations independently on Upwork.

Working understanding of IT services such as web development, mobile app development, eCommerce, Magento, or related areas

Good follow-up, coordination, and negotiation skills

Target-driven mindset with strong ownership of assigned responsibilities.

Preferred Skills

Experience working with international clients.

Detailed understanding of Upwork and its whole process.

Exposure to CRM tools, proposal management, or sales tracking systems.

Understanding of estimation workflows and solution-based proposal supp
