Assistant Manager - Operations

Role Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Vendor Sourcing & Management

Develop and maintain a pan-India vendor network for stall fabrication, branding, printing, manpower, and logistics.
Identify and onboard cost-effective, high-quality vendors while ensuring compliance with SLAs.
Build robust vendor relationships and negotiate the best rates for long-term partnerships.

2. Procurement & Cost Optimization

Issue RFPs, evaluate quotations, and finalize vendor contracts.
Manage project budgets by tracking expenses, avoiding cost overruns, and ensuring vendor accountability.
Work closely with the finance team to streamline payments & cost approvals.

3. Manpower & Logistics Deployment

Identify reliable manpower vendors for promoters, supervisors, and event staff.
Oversee logistics coordination for seamless event setup, inventory management, and dismantling.
Ensure manpower vendors provide well-trained and uniformed teams.

4. Execution & Quality Control

Conduct site visits and pre-event audits to monitor setup progress.




Implement quality checklists and approval processes to maintain execution standards.
Resolve on-ground operational issues in real-time to prevent last-minute delays, have a backup plan ready in advance

5. Timeline & Performance Management

Create detailed activation timelines and track execution progress.
Implement penalty clauses for vendor delays and enforce on-time delivery commitments.
Provide post-activation vendor evaluations to improve efficiency in future projects.

Preferred Background & Skills:
Industry Experience: 4-6 years in BTL activations, event operations, or procurement.
Vendor Network: Strong database of regional & national vendors across India.
Negotiation Skills: Expertise in cost-saving vendor deals and SLAs.
Execution Knowledge: Hands-on experience in stall event exhibition fabrication, retail branding, Road shows, logistics, and manpower led activation’s. Part of Urban, Small town
