Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in cinematography, including (but not limited to):
- Principles of Cinematography
- Camera Operations
- Lighting Techniques
- Visual Storytelling
- Digital and Film Cameras
- Color Theory and Grading
- Provide practical instruction using industry-standard equipment.
- Supervise student projects, films, and cinematography labs.
- Develop, revise, and update course materials and curriculum in accordance with current industry standards.
- Conduct workshops, seminars, and guest lectures.
- Mentor and guide students on career and project development.
- Contribute to departmental activities, student evaluations, and academic planning.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Cinematography, Film Production, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of professional experience in cinematography, preferably with teaching experience.
- Solid portfolio or showreel demonstrating technical and creative expertise.
- Proficiency in both traditional and digital cinematography workflows.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
