Position Overview:
Responsibilities:Financial Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Ensure all financial transactions are properly documented and classified.
- Record journal entries and maintain books of accounts.
Bank Reconciliation
- Reconcile bank statements regularly to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Monitor and manage cash flow to optimize working capital.
Accounts Payable and Receivable
- Process and verify vendor invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Manage customer invoicing, follow up on receivables, and address payment-related issues.
- Maintain proper records of outstanding payables and receivables.
GST Compliance & Return Preparation
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual GST returns (GSTR-1,
GSTR-3B and other applicable returns).
- Reconcile purchase and sales data with GST portal records.
- Match GSTR-2B with purchase registers and resolve input tax credit (ITC) discrepancies.
- Coordinate with vendors and customers for GST-related issues and documentation.
- Ensure timely compliance with GST laws and maintain proper statutory records.
Financial Reporting
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Prepare MIS reports and financial reports for management review.
- Provide financial insights to support business decision-making.
Compliance and Taxation
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, GST regulations, TDS provisions, and other statutory requirements.
- Assist in TDS calculations, deductions, and return filing.
- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and statutory authorities during audits and assessments.
