The impact you’ll make:
At Lam, as a Buyer, you play a pivotal role in our procurement process. You analyze purchase requirements and coordinate purchasing activities across departments to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of inventory. You'll support processing purchase requisitions, change orders, and quotes (RFQs) from suppliers. Engaging in cost analysis and volume planning within our enterprise-wide systems (ERPs), you negotiate for the best value and explore recent supply sources for cost-saving.

What you’ll do:
- Review, analyze and process purchase requisitions and quotations for materials, components, capital equipment and services.
- Manage purchase orders and changes based on demand.
- Understand, maintain, and report weekly KPI's.
- Maintain records of suppliers, materials, prices, delivery dates and inventories.
- Manage purchase order (PO) releases to meet demand requirements.
- Build key supplier relationships to review open action items, performance, demand forecast, and cost reductions.

Who we’re looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field with 2+ years of experience; or equivalent experience.
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel,).
- Working knowledge or experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Materials Re
