Position Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Computer Science to students of Classes III-VIII in accordance with the school curriculum.
- Plan and deliver interactive, activity-based, and practical lessons.
- Teach computer fundamentals, MS Office, internet usage, digital citizenship, and online safety.
- Introduce age-appropriate coding concepts using platforms such as Scratch, Blockly, or Python (middle school).
- Conduct practical sessions in the computer laboratory and ensure effective use of ICT resources.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, projects, assessments, and maintain student records.
- Encourage creativity,
logical thinking, and problem-solving through project-based learning.
- Integrate technology into classroom teaching and support digital learning initiatives.
- Maintain discipline and ensure the proper usage and upkeep of computer lab equipment.
- Participate in school events, staff meetings, parent-teacher meetings, and career development programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/BCA/B.Sc. (Computer Science) or equivalent.
- B.Ed. is mandatory.
