Position Summary
This role is part of the Financial Assurance team within MGCC Finance and is responsible for supporting and delivering Financial Assurance reviews and Internal Financial Controls (IFC) testing for MetLife Global Capability Centers. The role involves reviewing existing processes, evaluating internal controls, identifying process improvement opportunities, delivering actionable insights, and preparing reports based on the Assurance reviews.The incumbent will partner closely with cross‑functional stakeholders, review & validate adherence to company policies and procedures, and support continuous improvement of the Financial Assurance framework.-
- Job Responsibilities
- Support and execute planned Financial Assurance reviews, including scoping support, risk assessment, preparation of work papers, testing, and issue documentation.
- Independently manage Assurance reviews of assigned processes or areas.
- Ensure assurance activities follow a risk‑based approach across planning, fieldwork, reporting, and action‑plan follow‑up.
- Perform periodic reviews of business processes and operations to assess compliance with approved policies and procedures.
- Review financial transactions and process-level controls to assess accuracy, completeness, and effectiveness.
- Evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of Internal Financial controls (IFC) annually.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand processes, validate observations, and identify improvement opportunities, including opportunities for automation.
