Job Summary

The Senior Technical Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and managing Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, SQL, and Python processes. The primary objectives include optimizing data workflows, ensuring data reliability and integrity, and developing efficient data processing solutions using Azure technologies.

Key Responsibilities

6+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL/ELT development, enterprise data migration, or cloud data integration.

3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, SQL Server / Azure SQL, ADLS Gen2, and SQL-based transformation.

Ability to design and develop AI accelerators for data migration activities such as schema discovery, mapping generation, SQL script generation, data quality rule generation, reconciliation automation, and documentation.

Exposure to Databricks, metadata-driven pipelines, and reusable migration frameworks is preferred.

Solid SQL development skills, including stored procedures, views, functions, indexing, query tuning, and performance optimization.





Experience building ADF pipelines for extraction, orchestration, scheduling, error handling, monitoring, and data movement.

Experience in source-to-target mapping, SQL transformation, lookup handling, migration scripts, data validation, and reconciliation.

Ability to manage large-volume data loads using batching, chunking, incremental loads, and controlled load sequencing.

Hands-on experience or strong exposure to AI-assisted engineering tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms.

Good exposure to Azure DevOps, YAML/JSON configurations, CI/CD practices, and deployment support for data solutions.

Skill Requirements
