Export Head - International Business

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute international sales strategies to achieve export revenue targets.
- Identify and develop new overseas customers, distributors, dealers, OEMs, and channel partners.
- Manage the complete export sales cycle—from enquiry generation to order closure and project handover.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with international customers and key stakeholders.
- Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, pricing, and negotiate contracts.
- Coordinate with Design, Projects, Production, Procurement, and Logistics teams to ensure timely execution of export orders.
- Oversee export documentation, shipping, logistics, customs compliance, Incoterms, and Letters of Credit (LC).
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and identify opportunities in new international markets.




- Represent the company at international exhibitions, trade fairs, customer meetings, and business development events.
- Monitor export sales performance, forecasts, and business development activities.

Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or International Business.
- MBA in International Business or Marketing will be an added advantage.
- 10-15 years of experience in Export Sales or International Business Development within Industrial Machinery, Capital Equipment, Heavy Engineering, Material Handling Systems, or Manufacturing industries.:
- Strong knowledge of export documentation, international trade regulations, Incoterms, Letters of Credit (LC), DGFT, and global logistics.
- Proven experience in developing international markets and managing overseas distributors and customers.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
