Accountant Intern

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with recording daily financial transactions.
- Prepare and maintain accounting records and documentation.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Help reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and spreadsheets.
- Organize invoices, receipts, and other financial documents.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Assist with tax documentation and statutory compliance, as required.
- Perform data entry with accuracy and maintain financial databases.
- Collaborate with the finance team on special projects and administrative tasks.

Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Familiarity with accounting software (such as Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or Zoho Books) is an advantage.
- Solid numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.




- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and basic taxation.
- Solid time management and multitasking abilities.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
