Key Responsibilities

1. Fabrication & Welding
- Perform high-quality ARC and MIG/MAG welding on various metals, including carbon steel, stainless steel (for water tanks)
- Read and interpret technical blueprints and engineering drawings to execute precise cuts and joins.
- Fabricate specialized brackets, compartments, and structural supports tailored for firefighting equipment.

2. Quality & Safety Compliance
- Conduct leak tests on fabricated tanks and high-pressure manifold systems.
- Ensure all fabrications meet automotive safety standards and ISO certifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to PPE requirements at all times.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Proficiency:
- Expertise in Arc, MIG welding positions.
- Proficiency in using plasma cutters, grinders, cut off saw.
- Ability to use precision measuring tools (verniers,



calipers).

Physical Requirements & Soft Skills
- Detail Oriented: A "near enough is good enough" attitude doesn't work when building life-saving equipment.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to work in confined spaces (inside tanks) or at heights (on top of chassis) for extended periods.
- Problem Solver: Ability to troubleshoot fitment issues on the fly during the prototype phase.
