Job Title: Sr. Microbiologist - Biofertilizer & Biopesticide Production

Department: Production. Location: Reengus, Jaipur.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strain Management & R&D;
- Maintain mother cultures, working cultures, and culture banks.
- Screen and evaluate strains for efficacy and stability.
- Support development of new strains and improved formulations.

2. Production & Process Management
- Carry out mass multiplication of microbial cultures (bacteria, fungi, actinomycetes) used in biofertilizers and biopesticides.
- Handle production of organisms such as Rhizobium, Azotobacter, Azospirillum, PSB, Trichoderma, Bacillus, Pseudomonas, etc.
- Monitor and optimize fermentation parameters (pH, temperature, aeration, agitation).
- Support scale-up operations from lab to pilot and commercial production.

3. Formulation & Shelf-Life Improvement




- Develop and standardize liquid and carrier-based formulations.
- Improve viable cell/spore count and shelf life of products.
- Select suitable carriers, stabilizers, preservatives, and adjuvants.

4. Quality Control & Quality Assurance
- Conduct routine microbial analysis, CFU counts, contamination checks.
- Maintain QC standards as per FCO / CIB&RC; / ISO guidelines.
- Prepare and maintain batch production records and QC documentation.

Qualifications
- M.Sc in Microbiology / Biotechnology / Applied Microbiology having minimum 3-5 years of experience in biofertilizer or biopesticide manufacturing.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
