Job Summary
The Vessel Accounting Team Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day vessel accounting activities for managed vessels and supporting accurate financial reporting, budget monitoring, and expense control. The role acts as a key link between vessel accountants, management, technical teams, and vessel owners to ensure timely and accurate financial operations.
- Responsible for review, control, and supervision of vessel accounting activities and overall quality control of the activity performed by vessel accounting team, Manage relationships with vessel owners and key stakeholders
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Vessel Accounting Operations
- Overseeing daily accounting activities for assigned vessels.
- Review and verify vessel-related invoices, journal entries etc.
- Ensure accurate accounting of:
- Crew wages and related costs
