The Software Service Engineer is responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of software and integrated systems supporting the Proton Therapy System (PTS). The role involves ensuring high system availability, supporting clinical operations, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, participating in testing and validation activities, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver protected and reliable patient treatment services.This position requires a strong combination of software expertise, system troubleshooting capability, customer focus, and operational discipline within a highly regulated healthcare environment.Challenges we trust you with
System Operation & Clinical Support
Operate and support the Proton Therapy System (PTS) for patient treatments, quality assurance activities, research, development, and experimental operations.
Provide technical support during daily clinical operations to ensure uninterrupted patient treatments.
Coordinate with clinical, physics,
and engineering teams to maintain operational readiness of the facility.
Software & System Maintenance
Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities on software and integrated control systems.
Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues.
Support software deployments, upgrades, patches, and configuration management activities.
Maintain system reliability and ensure compliance with operational procedures.
Troubleshooting & Problem Resolution
Diagnose and resolve software-related issues within complex integrated systems.
Support troubleshooting activities involving software, networking, imaging systems, automation, electrical, and mechanical interfaces.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of issues.
Escalate critical problems appropriately and coordinate with global support teams.
