The Senior Associate, Federal Grants will work directly with Ryan team members and Ryan clients/companies to support the development of government funding applications and proposals by playing a key role in researching requirements and writing and editing application and proposal content as a member of a grant writing team. They may also support Ryan in post-award compliance activities and provide other grant-related support requested by clients. In addition, the Senior Associate will lead research on U.S. government grants, loans, and contracts and related legislation to ensure the firm's grants knowledge is continually updated. The position will demand high attention to detail and the ability to multi-task in constantly changing environments. The position requires strong writing, critical thinking, decision-making,



and analysis skills as well as an ability to comprehend and synthesize complex concepts and communicate clearly with stakeholders. The position requires the ability to effectively use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to enhance workflow efficiency while exercising independent judgment and critical thinking when evaluating information and making decisions.

The position involves significant project management skills to research and support the development and writing of grant and loan applications and contract proposals that are anticipated to range from $100,000 to $100,000,000+ in size. These funding applications are positioned to assist our clients’ businesses with their unique projects and could cover a wide array of industries included, but not limited to: energy, agriculture, health, manufacturing, industry, education, and research and development.
