Key Responsibilities:
- Source and purchase cutting waste (chindi), fabric scrap, and yarn waste from garment/knitting units across Tiruppur and nearby clusters
- Grade waste by fabric type, GSM, color, and fiber content to determine pricing
- Negotiate rates with mill/garment unit suppliers and maintain vendor relationships
- Coordinate weighment, loading, and dispatch logistics
- Maintain purchase records, GST-compliant invoicing, and stock reconciliation
- Track market rate trends for cotton/blended waste and recycled fiber demand
