- Manage and supervise day-to-day laser cutting operations.
- Plan and allocate laser cutting jobs according to production requirements.
- Review drawings, dimensions, material specifications, and cutting requirements.
- Prepare and verify laser cutting programs and nesting layouts.
- Ensure correct material selection, thickness, and quantity before cutting.
- Operate and monitor laser cutting machines as required.
- Ensure proper machine settings for different materials and thicknesses.
- Check cut quality, dimensions, edge finish, and accuracy of components.
- Coordinate with the Production, Design, Purchase, and Stores departments.
- Monitor production targets and ensure jobs are completed on time.
- Maintain proper records of production, material usage, scrap, and machine downtime.
- Minimize material wastage through effective nesting and job planning.




- Monitor machine performance and coordinate preventive maintenance.
- Report machine breakdowns and coordinate with maintenance technicians for repairs.
- Maintain adequate stock of consumables such as nozzles, lenses, and other required items.
- Ensure operators follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and machine operating guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping around the laser machine and work area.
- Train and guide laser machine operators on secure and efficient operation.
- Inspect finished components and coordinate rework or corrections when required.
- Monitor scrap and rejected materials and take corrective action.
- Prepare daily and monthly production reports.
- Ensure compliance with company quality and production standards.
