Roles and Responsibilities :

Summary
We are looking for a social native with a very good
sense of how an objective, credible and relatable journalistic brand
should be positioned on social media; and works with the editorial
social media team to make this happen. An understanding of
performance marketing is complementary to this, and good to have.
Description
• Managing social media for - complementing
the editorial effort, with a focus on organic engagement and
growth, and supporting these with social and SEM campaigns.
• Planning and executing campaigns across platforms for top
(traffic), mid (App installs, remarketing) and bottom (subscriber
acquisition) funnel objectives
• From concept to execution, you will contribute to the entire
process for the above, including
• Working closely with the creative set-up to ensure the
creatives meet the marketing and business objectives, and
are delivered timely
• Ensuring has the best social/ digital
creative and execution among financial publishers in India
• Competition tracking, awareness and understanding of the




global best practices
• Coordinating with BS Editorial's social media team to help
get the best engagement and effectiveness from editorial
content posts
• Social/ Google Ads buying, as and when required
• Using data and insights to maximise effectiveness
• Building a committed online community, develop and
nurture influencers
• Keeping one or more of salience, acquisition and retention as the
base objectives in mind, as per the need of the specific campaign/
spike, you will be expected to get the best possible organic
results/ return on spends.
Desired Profile
• A graduate with valuable results. Post-graduation, certification in
relevant fields is preferable.
• An excellent native understanding of social media - Facebook,
Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn; and how best to utilise them
organically
• An overall logical and rational approach to marketing, and a very
good sense of aesthetic.
