Role: PCB Soldering Technician

Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual soldering and desoldering of electronic components on PCBs.
- Assemble components such as resistors, capacitors, ICs, connectors, wires, switches, LEDs, and sensors according to PCB drawings and BOM.
- Read and understand circuit diagrams, PCB layouts, BOMs, and assembly instructions.
- Inspect solder joints for proper solder quality, strength, alignment, and cleanliness.
- Perform PCB rework and repair for defective or damaged components.
- Use soldering equipment such as soldering iron, hot-air station, microscope, multimeter,
- Conduct basic continuity, voltage, and functional checks after soldering.
- Identify soldering defects such as dry joints, solder bridges, insufficient solder, component damage, and wrong component placement.
- Maintain proper production records,



inspection records, and rejection/rework reports.
- Follow company quality standards, SOPs, and medical-device manufacturing procedures.

Preferred Candidate Profile
- ITI/Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or related field preferred.
- 13 years of experience in PCB assembly/soldering preferred.
- Good knowledge of through-hole and SMD soldering.
- Basic knowledge of electronic testing using a multimeter.
- Positive attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
- Knowledge of ESD handling and IPC soldering standards is an advantage.
- Experience in medical devices, consumer electronics, or precision electronics would be preferred.
