Key Responsibilities
- Prepare CNC router programs using AutoCAD and ArtCAM.
- Create tool paths for Wood, FRP, PVC, PPH, or other sheet materials.
- Select appropriate cutting tools and optimize machining parameters.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and customer designs.
- Perform machine setup, program prove-out, and first-piece inspection.
- Optimize cycle time while maintaining product quality.
- Troubleshoot machining and programming issues.
- Ensure preventive maintenance and follow safety procedures.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and ArtCAM.
- Experience with CNC router machine programming.
- Knowledge of G-code and CNC machine setup.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Valuable understanding of cutting tools, feeds, and speeds.
- Robust problem-solving and communication skills.
