Vectorworks Designer

About the Role

Were looking for an experienced Vectorworks Designer to join our Design team and translate creative concepts into accurate, technically sound, and production-ready event environments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong Architecture / Interior Design / Event Design background, extensive hands-on experience with Vectorworks, and an understanding of how designs translate into real-world event production.

What You'll Do

1. Create detailed 2D & 3D drawings in Vectorworks.
2. Develop stage layouts, floor plans, seating plans, truss layouts, elevations, sections, and construction drawings.
3. Translate creative concepts into production-ready technical designs.
4. Collaborate with Creative, Production, AV, Fabrication, and Project Management teams.
5. Incorporate client feedback, venue requirements, and technical specifications.
6. Ensure designs are practical, accurate, and production-ready.

What We're Looking For

Must Have:

1. 5+ years of relevant design experience in Architecture, Interior Design, Event/Exhibition Design,



or related fields.
2. Extensive proficiency in Vectorworks mandatory.
3. Strong 2D & 3D technical drawing and modelling skills.
4. Good understanding of staging, AV, lighting, rigging, fabrication, and event production.
5. Robust attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines.
6. Immediate joiner / short notice period strongly preferred.

Good to Have:

1. Experience in corporate events, exhibitions, conferences, or experiential projects is a strong advantage.
2. Knowledge of AutoCAD.
3. Experience with SketchUp, Twinmotion, Cinema 4D, or other rendering tools.
4. Diploma/Bachelors degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Event Design, or related field.
5. Flexibility to work UK/US shifts based on project requirements.
