Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with robust expertise in SQL, DBT, and Snowflake to design, develop, and maintain scalable data models and reliable data pipelines. The role requires hands-on experience with data warehousing, real-time data integration, CI/CD automation, data quality, and governance.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and modular DBT data models using SQL and Jinja.
- Implement DBT best practices, testing strategies, documentation, and model optimization.
- Develop and optimize data warehouse solutions using Snowflake, including dimensional and Data Vault modeling.
- Perform query tuning, performance optimization, and implement appropriate security and role-based access controls.
- Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines using Kafka or similar event-streaming technologies.
- Design and manage ETL/ELT workflows using SnapLogic or similar integration platforms.
- Use Git/GitHub for version control, collaboration, and code management.




- Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools for automated DBT testing, deployment, and documentation.
- Establish data validation, testing, lineage, and quality practices to ensure reliable and trusted data.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, metrics, transformations, and workflows.
- Proactively identify and resolve data quality, pipeline, and modeling issues while continuously improving data solutions.

Required Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and DBT.
- Expertise in DBT models, Jinja, testing, documentation, and best practices.
- Strong experience with Snowflake and data warehouse architecture.
- Good understanding of Dimensional Modeling, Star/Snowflake Schema, and Data Vault Modeling.
- Experience with Kafka or similar event-streaming platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Snap
