This is a full-time, in office role for a Finance Controller located in Mumbai, reporting to founders of the Company.
The role involves financial planning, reporting, automation of accounting systems, compliances and management of
receivables and payables. The candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial health, improving processes, and
driving efficiency.
Job Description:
1. Financial Planning & Reporting:
o Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
o Provide detailed financial analysis and insights to the management team.
o Present monthly and annual reports on financial performance.
2. Automation & Process Management:
o Lead the automation of accounting systems and processes for efficiency.
o Oversee all accounting operations, including receivables,
payables, and cash flow management.
3. Compliance & Controls:
o Ensure compliance with Indian GAAP/Ind AS and tax regulations.
o Implement strong internal controls to safeguard financial integrity.
4. Team Leadership:
o Manage and mentor the finance & accounts team.
o Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and improve profitability.
Desired Skills:
- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent.
- Experience: 3+ years in finance & accounts roles, preferably in logistics or transportation.
- Skills: Expertise in accounting software, financial automation, and strong analytical abilities.
