Roles Responsibilities
- The role involves batch job processing, monitoring, incident management, issue analysis, user support, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations for Beacon.
- Run batch jobs, view logs, interpret errors, and support basic operational workflows.
- Use IT tools to log, update, classify, and resolve incidents and service requests. Manage incidents, service requests, escalations, and updates.
- Run pipelines, validate results,



and support cloud-based operational tasks.
- Analyse logs, identify issues, and provide clear diagnostic information for escalation.
- Follow and execute operational procedures and runbooks.
- Identify recurring issues, propose improvements to runbooks and monitoring, and support platform teams with clear diagnostics and incident data.
- Perform proactive monitoring of production systems and respond to alerts within agreed SLAs.
- Coordinate with L2/L3 teams, infrastructure teams, and business users during incident resolution and critical issue handling.
- Support production stability by performing health checks, validating job executions, and ensuring the successful completion of operational activities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to changing working environments and practices, willingness to learn current systems.
