Job Description
We are looking for a agile and detail-oriented Account Executive to join our Finance & Accounts team. The candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, handling invoices and payments, and supporting statutory compliance and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate books of accounts.
- Record purchase, sales, journal, payment and receipt entries.
- Prepare and verify sales and purchase invoices.
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
- Follow up with customers for outstanding payments and maintain receivable records.
- Coordinate with vendors regarding invoices, payments and account statements.
- Perform bank reconciliation and ledger reconciliation.
- Maintain cash and bank transactions.
- Verify invoices,
purchase orders and supporting documents.
- Prepare regular outstanding, payment and collection reports.
- Assist in monthly closing of accounts and preparation of MIS reports.
- Maintain proper documentation and accounting records.
- Assist in GST, TDS and other statutory compliance.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
- Ensure timely and accurate accounting entries in the ERP/accounting system.
- Coordinate with HR, Purchase, Sales, Stores and other departments for accounting-related requirements.
- Identify discrepancies in invoices, ledgers and financial transactions and resolve them promptly.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and procedures.
- Perform other finance and accounting activities assigned by the Finance Manager.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Tally Prime / ERP accounting software.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and bas
