What You’ll Do

Inside Sales team supports Avalara’s growth by assisting in lead generation, qualification, and outreach efforts. As a Sales Intern you will help identify potential customers, initiate conversations, and schedule discovery meetings for the sales team. This internship offers hands-on experience in a quick-paced SaaS sales environment, with opportunities to learn about customer engagement, CRM systems, and outbound sales strategy.
What Your Responsibilities Will Be
- Research and identify potential sales prospects using internal tools and external sources.
- Learning experience on the latest tools like Salesforce, Drift chats, Zoom Info, Outreach etc
- Assist in outbound email and phone outreach to engage prospective customers.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads by gathering basic business information and gauging interest.
- Schedule discovery calls and demos for the sales team with qualified leads.
- Update and maintain accurate data in Salesforce and other CRM tools.
- Collaborate with sales development representatives (SDRs) and account executives (AEs)



to support pipeline growth.
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and coaching sessions to build sales and communication skills.
