About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Accountant to manage the day-to-day accounting and financial activities of our petro oil treatment industry establishment.

The role will primarily be office-based, with occasional field work related to business and accounting activities. The selected candidate will work closely with and be guided by our Chartered Accountant (CA) to ensure accurate accounting, timely statutory compliance, and proper financial documentation.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain daily purchase and sales records and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Handle day-to-day accounting entries, invoices, receipts, payments, and supporting documentation.
- Manage salary and employee payment processing.
- Perform regular bank reconciliation and ensure discrepancies are identified and resolved.
- Maintain proper records of accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist with GST compliance and filing, including preparation and verification of relevant data and documents.
- Coordinate with the CA for GST, taxation, accounting,



and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Maintain and organize accounting records, bills, vouchers, invoices, and other financial documents.
- Support preparation of financial statements, reports, and other accounting information as required.
- Handle occasional field visits/work related to collections, documentation, banking, purchases, or other business requirements.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned accounting and administrative activities.
- Identify accounting discrepancies or compliance issues and bring them to the attention of management/CA.

Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant prior experience in accounting is preferred.
- Practical experience in daily purchase and sales accounting.
- Experience with bank reconciliation and routine accounting activities.
- Hands-on experience with salary/payroll payments.
- Working knowledge of GST and GST filing/compliance.
- Experience coordinating
