Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior SharePoint Engineer for a 4-6 months contract engagement to support the migration and redesign of a clients legacy on-premises intranet to SharePoint Online.
The new intranet design, information architecture,
and technical approach have already been defined. The target environment follows a hub-and-spoke architecture, consisting of a central hub and 11 department communication sites.
This is a highly hands-on role, with responsibilities split approximately equally between migrating content from a legacy SQL Server application and building/configuring the new SharePoint Online intranet.
This is also a client-facing position requiring regular interaction with U.S.-based stakeholders. The consultant must be comfortable working during PST/PDT business hours. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to independently lead technical discussions, provide progress updates, and work directly with client stakeholders.
