Sales & Marketing Executive – Electric Forklift MachinesJob Description

We are looking for a motivated Sales & Marketing Manager with knowledge of electric forklifts and material-handling equipment. The candidate will be responsible for developing sales opportunities, visiting customers, understanding their material-handling requirements, explaining suitable electric forklift solutions, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new customers for electric forklift machines.
- Visit factories, warehouses, logistics companies, and industrial customers.
- Understand customer requirements such as load capacity, lifting height, battery type, working hours, and application.
- Explain electric forklift specifications, features, benefits, and operating costs to customers.
- Prepare quotations and negotiate pricing and commercial terms.
- Follow up on enquiries, quotations, demonstrations, and sales orders.
- Conduct product demonstrations and coordinate with the technical/service team.




- Maintain valuable relationships with existing customers and generate repeat business.
- Monitor competitor products, pricing, and market trends.
- Develop dealer/channel sales opportunities where required.
- Maintain customer and sales records and provide regular sales reports.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

Electric Forklift Product Knowledge

The candidate should have a basic understanding of:
- Electric forklift types and applications
- 3-wheel and 4-wheel electric forklifts
- Load capacity and rated capacity
- Lift height and mast types
- Lithium-ion and lead-acid batteries
- Battery charging and charging requirements
- AC drive and hydraulic systems
- Fork dimensions and attachments
- Turning radius and operating space
- Safety features and operator requirements
- Preventive maintenance and after-sales service
- Comparison between electric, diesel, and LPG forklifts
- Total cost of ownership and operating cost advantages
