Role & responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end production operations, from production planning to batch execution and dispatch readiness.
- Ensure brand quality, speed, and vision-high output.
- Prepare and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production plans to meet business requirements.
- Build, mentor, and develop high-performing production teams (70+) while maintaining discipline and accountability.
- Ensure manufacturing activities comply with cGMP, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
- Deliver production targets while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and productivity.
- Coordinate with QA, QC, Engineering, Warehouse, and Supply Chain for smooth plant operations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance OEE, reduce downtime, improve yield, and minimize wastage.
- Monitor manpower utilization, machine efficiency, and production KPIs.
- Investigate deviations, implement CAPA, and ensure timely closure of production-related observations.
- Ensure documentation is accurate, complete, and audit-ready.
- Support technology transfer,



process optimization, validation activities, and new product launches.
- Promote a strong culture of safety, compliance, operational excellence, and brand quality.

Preferred candidate profile:
- B.Pharm / M.Pharm with 14-15 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Proven experience in managing production operations for External Liquid Preparations and Tablet manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of cGMP, WHO-GMP, Schedule M, GDP, and regulatory compliance.
- Hands-on experience in production planning, manpower management, and shop-floor operations.
- Capable of managing three-shift production while ensuring productivity, quality, and on-time delivery.
- Experience in handling production documentation, including BMR, BPR, SOPs, and deviation investigations.
- Solid leadership and team-building skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
