Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with Company Policies, Quality Management Procedures, Health & Safety, and statutory requirements
- Source and negotiate prices, material, and delivery terms with vendors, shipping, and forwarding companies
- Monitor vendor performance on quality and delivery; identify and qualify new vendors
- Work with Engineering, Project Management, and Project Accounting to control project budget and drive long-term cost savings
- Support relevant departments with purchases within delegated authority
- Coordinate with Project Management to ensure timely delivery per purchasing and shipping plans
- Ensure materials are purchased as per specification and within agreed timelines
- Issue and process Purchase Orders as per company authorization guidelines
- Coordinate with the Receiving Team (Storekeeper, Project Engineer) to verify materials against POs
- Facilitate incoming shipments for all projects; liaise with transporters, forwarders, warehouses, and vendors for timely delivery




- Communicate regularly with vendors on shipment status; monitor import shipments and update delivery/arrival dates
- Maintain shipment records and support other shipping-related activities as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Reporting Manager

Preferred Candidate Profile
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain / Procurement / Logistics Management / Commerce / Science / Business Management / Engineering
- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in procurement
- Experience with an engineering company preferred
- Strong business and operations acumen with sound knowledge of Procurement and Supply Chain processes
- Highly analytical with strong negotiation skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); ERP experience is an added advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Meticulous, proactive, and able to work independently with minimum supervision
