As a Editorial Assistant at RubricEdge, you will work on manuscripts submitted by international publishing clients. Your primary responsibility is to ensure that every manuscript meets the highest standards of English language — grammar, syntax, clarity, consistency and style — before it goes to final quality check.

This is a hands-on editorial role. You will work directly on real client files from day one, supported by structured training and experienced senior editors.

Key Responsibilities
- Edit manuscripts for grammar, syntax, sentence structure, word choice and language clarity
- Ensure consistency in language style throughout the manuscript
- Follow client-specific style guides and editorial guidelines
- Flag structural or content issues to the QC editor without altering meaning
- Complete assigned chapters or files within the given daily target
- Participate in daily training sessions and skill development exercises
- Report daily progress accurately through internal tracking systems

Qualification: Any graduate degree. English Literature, Journalism, Mass Communication or related fields preferred but not mandatory. What matters is your command of the language.

Experience: Freshers welcome. Prior editing or proofreading experience is an advantage but not a requirement.
