Purpose:

To lead and manage all technical manufacturing activities including machine feasibility, NPD development, tooling, fixture development, machine maintenance, productivity improvement, cycle time optimization, cost saving initiatives, and technical team management to ensure smooth and uninterrupted production operations.

Responsibility:
- Overall responsibility for technical feasibility evaluation of machines for NPD samples and running production items.
- Responsibility for development and execution of initial programs for NPD sample components.
- Responsibility for initial tooling selection, tooling development, fixture design, and fixture manufacturing activities.
- Ensure preventive maintenance (PM) and regular maintenance of all production machines as per schedule.
- Responsibility for cycle time achievement and CPC improvement as per costing requirements.
- Implement poka-yoke systems to minimize rejection and process errors.
- Drive continuous cost saving initiatives in regular production processes as per management criteria.




- Lead and manage the technical team, ensuring proper work allocation and daily work management.
- Ensure machine uptime and maintain technical support to avoid machine stoppage during production.
- Monitor and control machine setting activities within defined setup time targets.
- Support production team for process improvements, productivity enhancement, and quality improvements.
- Coordinate with quality, production, maintenance, and planning departments for smooth execution of operations.
- Ensure proper technical documentation, process parameters, tooling records, and machine standards.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement activities for process optimization and operational excellence.
- Train and guide operators, setters, programmers, and technical staff on technical standards and best practices.
- Ensure protected working practices and compliance with company procedures within technical operations.
