Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced Accountant with robust knowledge of GST, GST return filing, taxation, and day-to-day accounting activities. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate books of accounts, handling GST compliance, preparing returns, reconciliations, and supporting the finance team in statutory and accounting-related activities.

Key Responsibilities

GST & Taxation
- Handle complete GST compliance and return filing process.
- Prepare and file GSTR-1, GSTR-3B and other applicable GST returns.
- Reconcile GSTR-2B with purchase records/books and identify discrepancies.
- Verify GST input tax credit (ITC) and ensure proper accounting.
- Handle GST registration, amendments, notices, and other GST-related requirements.
- Prepare GST workings and maintain proper GST documentation.




- Coordinate with consultants/CA for GST and taxation matters.
- Assist in responding to GST notices and departmental queries.
- Ensure timely payment of GST and other statutory dues.

Accounting Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally/ERP software.
- Handle purchase, sales, receipt, payment, journal, and expense entries.
- Prepare and maintain bank reconciliation statements (BRS).
- Reconcile customer and vendor ledgers.
- Maintain accounts payable and receivable records.
- Verify invoices, supporting documents, and accounting entries.
- Prepare monthly outstanding reports and follow up for required reconciliations.
- Assist in monthly closing of accounts.
- Maintain proper records and documentation for audit purposes.

TDS & Other Compliance
- Basic knowledge of TDS calculation, deduction, payment, and return filing.
- Assist in preparation of TDS certificates and related documentation.
