*Job Description*

We are looking for an experienced Sales Executive with a robust background in the electrical, lighting, or electrical distribution industry to handle sales and market development in Siliguri and surrounding areas.

The candidate will work on an off-roll basis for Orient Electric Limited, through its authorised distribution channel.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with electrical wholesalers, retailers, dealers and contractors.
- Generate new business and expand the distribution network across Siliguri and nearby markets.
- Achieve monthly sales and collection targets.
- Regularly visit market counters and develop new customers.
- Promote and sell Orient Electric products across lighting and electrical product categories.
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing and market trends.
- Coordinate with distributors/dealers and ensure timely order execution and collections.




- Maintain regular sales reports and customer data.

Requirements
- 2–5 years of relevant sales experience in electricals, lighting, fans, switches, wires, cables or related products.
- Strong knowledge of the Siliguri electrical market and local dealer/retailer network.
- Good communication, negotiation and relationship-management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned market.
- Existing contacts with electrical wholesalers, retailers and contractors will be an advantage.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
