Role & Responsibilities

The Senior Legal Associate will deliver practical, commercially focused legal consulting support to domestic and international clients. The role combines contract advisory, regulatory research, transaction support, policy drafting, compliance guidance, and stakeholder coordination within UJA's multidisciplinary advisory workplace.
1. Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and vetting wide range of commercial, corporate and transactional agreements including service agreements, non-disclosure agreements, vendor contracts, employment-related agreements, and other legal documents.
2. Drafting legal notices, replies, representations, legal opinions, advisory notes and correspondence with clients, regulatory authorities and other stakeholders.
3. Conducting and Supporting legal due diligence exercises and transaction-support assignments, including document review, data collation, risk identification, coordination, and preparation of reports.

Preparation and review of mandates, engagement letters, proposals, disclaimers, policies, and internal documents.
5. Drafting and reviewing policies, SOPs, and internal guidelines, including HR and compliance-related manuals/policies and governance documents.
6. Advising on corporate, commercial, labour, employment, cyber and data privacy, intellectual property rights, real estate, legal ,compliance and regulatory matters including interpretation and implementation.
7. Prepare client update, drafting articles, legal alerts/ updates, and knowledge content for newsletters and legal publications on current legal and regulatory developments.
8. Manage contract lifecycle processes including execution, maintenance, renewals and record management and ensure proper documentation and version control.
