Role & responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute ETL test cases to validate data pipelines and transformations.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks across multiple sources and targets.
- Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and business analysts to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- Develop Python-based automation scripts for ETL testing and regression testing.
- Work extensively with Snowflake for data validation, query optimization, and performance testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Support continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes by integrating automated test suites.

Preferred candidate profile




- Strong expertise in ETL testing methodologies and data warehouse concepts.
- Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and validation.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake SQL (queries, stored procedures, performance tuning).
- Solid understanding of data modeling, schema design, and data pipelines.
- Experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) and defect tracking.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Git).
- Robust analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
