Role & responsibilities
1) Hands on experience related to biocatalysis, focusing on screening of whole cells, enzymes and fermentation broth for desired conversion, process optimization, trouble shooting and yield improvement.
2) To conduct biocatalysis experiments, including scaling up processes, troubleshooting, and optimizing conditions.
Understand and follow reaction parameters from supervisors or managers.
3) Ensure the parallel execution of multiple reactions.
Analysing experimental data and interpreting results.
4) To maintain detailed records of experimental procedures, observations and outcomes.
5) Valuable understanding of organic chemistry, enzymology and fermentation.
