Purpose/Objective

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Skilled with 6-12 years of experience in Thermal Power Projects to manage electrical project execution, installation, testing, commissioning, and contract management activities.
The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring timely execution of electrical systems, adherence to quality and safety standards, coordination with stakeholders, and successful project completion within schedule and budget.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Key Responsibilities Project Execution - Execute electrical project activities in Thermal Power Plant projects.
- Monitor installation, erection, testing, and commissioning of electrical equipment.
- Ensure compliance with project schedules, technical specifications, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, contractors, consultants, and site teams.
- Track project progress and resolve technical issues during execution.
Electrical Systems Management - Oversee installation and commissioning of: - Generators - Transformers - Switchgear (HT/LT)



- GIS/AIS Switchyards - Bus Ducts - Motors and MCCs - UPS, Battery Systems & Chargers - Electrical Protection Systems - Plant Lighting Systems - Earthing & Lightning Protection Systems Testing & Commissioning - Review and execute testing procedures and commissioning plans.
- Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate with OEMs and consultants during equipment testing.
- Ensure successful synchronization and system integration activities.
Contract & Vendor Management - Manage EPC contractors and subcontractors.
- Review contractor bills and certify work completion.
- Monitor contract compliance, progress, and performance.
- Coordinate with vendors for technical discussions and issue resolution.
Planning & Documentation - Prepare project schedules and progress reports.
- Review engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Ensure timely submission of reports, MIS, and project documentation.
