Job Title: Shift Incharge / Engineer - Mechanical (DRI Plant)
Department: Mechanical - DRI 650 Plant
Reporting To: Department HOD
Experience: 8+ Years
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Industry: Steel / Sponge Iron (DRI) / Integrated Steel Plant

Job Purpose
To ensure reliable operation and maintenance of all mechanical equipment in the DRI-650 plant, minimizing breakdowns and supporting protected production.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Supervise preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance.
- Maintain Rotary Kiln, Cooler, Conveyors, Crushers, Gearboxes, Pumps, Fans and Hydraulic systems.




- Coordinate shutdown planning and execution.
- Reduce equipment downtime and improve reliability.
- Monitor spare parts and maintenance records.
- Coordinate with Operations and Electrical departments.
- Ensure safety, SOP and statutory compliance.
- Lead technicians, fitters and contract manpower.
