Job Description : Electrician
Position: Electrician
Location: Shoolagiri, Tamil Nadu
Reporting To: Plant Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment.
- Handle and maintain PLC, SCADA, and VFD systems.
- Perform basic PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Read and interpret P&ID; (Piping & Instrumentation Diagram) drawings.
- Maintain and troubleshoot DG/Gensets.
- Carry out maintenance of LT (Low Tension) and HT (High Tension) electrical systems.
- Ensure preventive maintenance and adherence to all electrical safety standards.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as an Electrician in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with PLC, SCADA, VFD, PLC Programming, P&ID; diagrams, Gensets, and LT & HT lines.
- ITI/Diploma in Electrical or a related field preferred.
- Valuable troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
