Responsibilities
- Design and maintain billing, payment, and entitlement ledgers using PostgreSQL.
- Build reliable, idempotent payment gateway and webhook integrations.
- Handle refunds, disputes, credits, and payment reconciliation.
- Build financial and entitlement data for accounting, tax, revenue, and analytics.
- Own the billing and checkout experience using TypeScript/React.
- Safely migrate and reconcile the existing billing system with the current platform.

Requirements
- Strong backend engineering experience with Go, SQL, and relational data modelling.
- Hands-on experience building payments, subscriptions, and financial ledgers.
- Strong knowledge of payment gateways, webhooks, reconciliation, refunds, and disputes.
- Experience with revenue recognition, GST/IGST, tax, and financial reporting.
- Understanding of append-only/event-sourced ledger architectures.
- Strong SQL skills for financial data analysis and reconciliation.
- Working knowledge of TypeScript/React for billing and checkout interfaces.
