We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage and oversee the financial operations of our law firm. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in financial reporting, compliance with legal accounting standards, and efficient handling of client trust accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, and receivable
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Monitor cash flow, budgets
- Ensure timely tax filings and compliance with statutory requirements
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits
- Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records
- Implement and maintain accounting policies and procedures
- Assist partners with financial planning and decision-making
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting,
Finance, or related field
- 5–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in a law firm
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and legal accounting practices
- Experience with trust accounting and compliance regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Tally Prime)
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with legal billing systems
- Experience in handling multi-entity accounts
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
- Collaboration Skills.
